The planned Talish village cemetery was formed as a place of respect. It was designed according to the road circle from the city of Aghdam, and its scale and orientation were adapted to these principles.
Space serves as monumental yet public yet private, permanent yet temporary. The scale and design of the site is intended to evoke a sense of grandeur and reverence, to awe the inhabitants of the ancient city, while at the same time acting as an open-air museum in the form of domes.
Talysh village cemetery should prioritize pedestrian movement and experience. The design should incorporate clear pathways, well-defined entrances, and intuitive circulation patterns to guide visitors smoothly throughout the site. Pedestrian comfort, safety and accessibility should be considered, ensuring that the design creates a thoughtful and respectful atmosphere.
Entrance and parking areas dedicated to memorial and burial sites, both aligned in the same direction. The visitor section faces the main pedestrian flow to shape the entrance as a space, while the funeral section, on the other hand, is located at the rear to allow vehicular access and view the cemetery as a whole.
