















On July 20, the 2nd Sumgayit Regional “ASAN Service” Center was put into operation. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who officially inaugurated the center.
Ülvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, briefed the President on the conditions created at the 2nd “ASAN Service” Center in Sumgayit, which is the 24th center in the country.
It was reported that the 1st regional “ASAN Service” Center operating in Sumgayit currently serves up to 3,000 citizens daily. Given the increasing demand for services, the second regional “ASAN Service” Center has been constructed in Sumgayit. In total, nearly 54 million requests have been made to “ASAN Service” centers across the country.
The construction of the center includes a four-story administrative building, a fountain, two above-ground car parks, a café, recreation areas, and children’s play grounds. Modern technologies have been used in the facades of the building.
The center will provide 325 services to approximately 700,000 citizens registered in Sumgayit city, Gobustan, Khizi, Siyazan, and Absheron districts, through various government agencies, private companies, and institutions. Additionally, the center will offer services to citizens from other regions of the country without any territorial restrictions. A total of 192 employees and 45 volunteers will work at the center.
The center is equipped with 220 video surveillance cameras, 13 monitors, 150 computers, 101 printers, 125 IP phones, 18 monitors for regulating the electronic queue system, 2 “ASAN payment” terminals, 3 electronic opinion survey booths (exit polls), a call booth for the “108 Call Center,” an electronic complaint booth (Skype), centralized ventilation, fire extinguishing systems, and 2 elevators.
