The concept is the number 44 spectacularly embodied with the combination of heavy simple vertical elements with light that appears as extension to the solid shapes both visually and physically conveys the philosophy of endless grieve and respect in memory of martyrs.
The base of the monument is a massive structure with the names of martyrs perforated on a solid surface. The structure also has the light source inside and creates the visual fusion with the lights going up to the sky.
The shape of 44 can be recognized by a viewer both from the front and from the top.
