Although the original structure of the mosque was preserved, it was seriously damaged during the armenian occupation. The domes and part of the arches were destroyed. The places of the minarets had been strengthened and restored. In addition to the restoration works, an ablution room, boiler room, underground water tanks with 90 m³ capacity and a pump room were designed to be built. The minarets and arched are planned to be rebuilt.
Total area of the Mosque is 400 m².
